Re: Dashboard Missing fron Newbie
Marty, try "/ui" lower case instead of upper case. Unix anything is case sensitive. I just tried upper case in my RPi Node Red server and get no response.?
BTW, one point on clarification, you say your server is running on 127.0.0.1. That is a bit nonsensical. 127.0.0.1 is the IP looback (my IPl address and when one establishes an ip connection to it, it connects to the currect node. So, in effect, every IP node is 127.0.0.1.

Hello to the group.

I got bit bigtime by Kyle AA0Z the other day. I had a pi4 on the shelf so said Let’s try something new.
After watching Kyle’s video, I proceeded to get my feet wet after updating the Pi4.
This is what I’ve done and the bump I’ve came too.
I have Node Red up and running on the pi4.I bring up node red via the programming tab on the dropdown menu.
I get a terminal window pop up with a some work I have to do involving encrypted files.

I go to chrome and use the following url for my workspace
This brings up my workspace.
I followed wo2x pdf instructions in the files section and installed the required modules.
Now is where I hit the bump in the road.
Following kyles guidance and the node red web site. I tried to bring up a dashboard so I could start the learning process.
I used
No dashboard but a error message that 254 is a private thing in the router.
This is true. I am running fiber from Frontier using their modem and Router as it gives 1 gig performance.
This is the point I am at, how do I work around this to get a dashboard?
I’ve checked the dashboard in the palette section with no joy.
Any help be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded and installed all those flows you recommended in the files section. A dashboard was among them and is present on the left side (palette) of the workspace. In fact it is the second to last item followed by Raspberry Pi.
I have been working with this to see if I could solve my own problem but no luck.
When I click on it, the slider moves up between the json and xml flows with nothing resembling a dashboard workspace showing.
Perhaps I’m looking for the wrong thing.

Re: Stream Deck and Node Red - which model?
The Mk2 is just a newer version and I believe it uses a USB-C interface on the Stream Deck end. Operationally, there is no difference.
Let us know if you have any questions when implementing it. In the file section I have a zip file with my flows and files needed for Stream Deck integration, including the plug-ins and a profile for Stream Deck.?
Have fun!

Re: Need Your Dashboard Screen Shots!
Dave, Yes N1MM+ is feeding the data into the flow. I setup the master station to send the contacts up to the cloud based NR instance. It is running on free tier ARM Oracle cloud instance, with NGINX as the front end, and has a 'free' SSL.?? But you could easily run as a normal node locally.?? The flow is attached. 73, Dana NN0G?

Re: Need Your Dashboard Screen Shots!
I must say that many (most) of these are very impressive! I've just done a few experiments with Node-Red - clearly I need to look more seriously at it! A question - several of these dashboards include spectrum scopes - how are these displayed? I use an SDRPlay RSP1A together with my FTdx101D and FT-991A - do the interfaces exist to allow me to display the spectrum from the RSP1A?

Re: Need Your Dashboard Screen Shots!
Hi Dana.?
Are you using N1MM+??
If so, can you forward the “stupid flow”? ;-)
I’d like to use it this weekend. I was asked to help a group with Field Day who are relatively new to Field Day and it would be fun to have people be able to see the dashboard. We’re running 2F from a County Mobile Command Post (modified bus with hydraulic slide outs). Real nice and air conditioned!
My station will be my 6600m with an Inrad DMS629 desk mic. The second station is probably going to be a Yaesu FTdx-1200 (ughh).?
