Updating the firmware
Could please some kind soul point me to the detailed instructions on how to update the firmware on my nanoVNA, the 2.8" , 50 kHz to 900 MHz model ?
I have just downloaded the 0.5.4 version, but before risking to make my unit totally inoperative I would like to be sure about the steps to be done, thanks. Alberto |
You cannot brick the unit. Please refer to the user guide in the files area.It has all the info you'll need.

Ciao Alberto,
nessun rischio seguendo questa procedura; /g/nanovna-users/files/Firmware/Windows%20guide%20on%20how%20to%20write%20firmware.pdf -- *73, Lucio I0LYL Rome, Italy* |

Forget it. I found the relevant info on the Wiki section of the group. Firmware updated successfully. And, thanks God, despite being 75, I can still clearly and effortlessly read the crispy 2.8" LCD screen of the unit. When the hugen's bigger screen model will be out, probably I will buy it, but the current one is manageable. |
Ciao Alberto,Ciao Lucio e grazie. Ho visto il pointer a quel PDF nel Wiki, e questo mi ha permesso di aggiornare il nanetto... Grazie ancora e Buon Anno ! 73 Alberto I2PHD |
