Stylus

I went to vote today. We have new voting machines and they give you a stylus to sign your name and use on the touch screen. It has a soft rubber tip and works great on my various NanoVNA and other touch screens displays.

Yes! I have repurposed the rubber tips onto pens. Do vote in Dallas County TX and get your own! ( I am an election clerk). WA0VYU

This was in he back of my mind but this stylus is the best one I have found. It works well with all of my touch screens, especially my NanoVNA-F which has a touchy screen.

When my wife goes to vote I will try to pick up a couple of them.

What you have all failed to realize is that these supposedly "improved styli" have an internal bias feature that changes your vote in spite of the apparent vote you made.
They will also induce a small positional bias into the nanovna touchscreen position(s) you choose that is something like a bias offset that is actually obvious if you are observant. ;)

Don't thinl so. It prints a backup paper ballot that you have to check before entering...

And this thread is germane to nanovana how?

Also if you are to make claims, it is perhaps useful to have
objective evidence to support the claims.

At Christmas time, our veterinarian provides stylus/pens to her customers. I find one very useful on H4, but still have issues with characters in the top row being insensitive to finger touch or the stylus.

Of course the characters are not what is responding to touch but rather a small area of the touch screen that should correspond to where the characters are displayed, the correspondence being determined by the touch screen calibration. If you haven't, try a screen calibration and see if it improves.

On my V2 PLUS 4, I find the touch calibration doesn't work properly with Dislord's V1.0.69 firmware and I'm much better off using the default screen calibration. With the 20201013 firmware, the touch screen calibration works properly
