NanoVNA Presentation #measurement #nanovna-saver #tutorials

Hi All,
Last friday, I gave a 4 hour presentation on the nanoVNA for the local radio club in Ostend, Belgium.
It was attended by over 50 people, see a short report here

A video will be posted online too (but needs some time editing, so be patient ...).

I uploaded a pdf with clickable links in the File section in a new folder "Presentations"
All is in the DUTCH language, but the pictures explain themselves (I hope) ... and Google Translate is your friend ;-)

If anyone wants to do the translation into English, mail me off-list for the original .pptx file.
(my address is good on qrz.com)

Luc - ON7DQ/KF0CR

Nico going Luc! Good pictures as well.

I will be doing something like that tonight :-) in Dordrecht, NL.
I will be focussing on the Smith Chart in the nanoVNA and applications of that, skipping as much of the Math as I can.

Good luck Arie, veel succes !

Feel free to use anything you think is useful.
You can always distribute my presentation as "extra" reading material.

And oops, I forgot to mention in my first post that if anyone thinks I violated their copyright ... pse contact me off list to set things straight ;-)

Nice job Luc. An english version will be very nice.

Another oops
I cleared out my spam folder and saw just in the last moment that it contained a mail from (I think) a G6xxx station, with nanoVNA in the title ... probably a comment on my presentation.
But it was already too late ... a moment later the mail was gone and I can't recover it
So if you sent me a mail , pse send it again
Tnx - Luc ON7DQ

look in the trash folder and all mail sent, could still be there.

I resent the email to Luc which he has recieved OK now.

FYI I am new member to the group and a new owner of a nanoVNA and I must say
there is a wealth of information to be found for this excellent device, here
and in the groups files and FAQ.
Most helpful for a new user like me, but some of it is a bit of a steep
learning curve :-)

It's a great addition to my test gear.

Seasons Greetings!

Hi Folks,

I finally did the translation myself, I realized it is difficult for someone else to get the meaning of what I wanted to tell ...

I uploaded it into the Files section, in the folder "Presentations"

Please let me know if there are any typos, omissions, etc ... so that I can correct them.

Any other comments or suggestions are of course also welcome !

If you want to use the presentation, and have any questions, send me a private message. I'll be happy to help you out.

Luc ON7DQ

This will mainly interest the DUTCH speaking members

I posted two videos on YouTube with my presentation on the NanoVNA

Part one is about complex impedance, transmission lines, S-parameters and the Smith Chart (approx 2 hours)

Part 2 is about the NanoVNA and its applications (approx 1 hour and 45 minutes)

Veel kijkplezier !

Luc ON7DQ

Thanks Luc for taking the time to write and translate this document. Very well done...
