Linux saver problems

1) Has anyone got the windows exe running under wine? The opening screen launches the GUI OK but crashes when asked to connect. Linux (mint64bit) sees the VNA as TTY0 a symbolic link exists to com1.
2) Trying to build the Linux release but stuck when Python 3.7.4 cannot find pip, seems to be a common problem but the common answers do not resolve this.

Thank You John Knott 2E0KNJ

Hi

Work fine on Debian Buster 32 and 64 bits but only after making a
virtual environment and for the 32bits versions, copying somes lib by
hand (no pyqt5 32 bits)

Yes I followed the installation procedure to the letter, the problem appears to be associated with Python3.7.4 not loading Pip correctly.

What Linux distribution are you using?

As Nick said, if you follow the installation instructions, the program installs without a problem on Linux Mint 19.2 and works just fine.

There's something wrong there. If you are using Linux Mint and you connect the NanoVNA to a USB port and power it on, it will appear as /dev/ttyACM0:

There is absolutely no need to run the Windows .exe under WINE when the NanoVNA-Saver software runs perfectly as a native Python application.
