How many hardware versions?

Hello everyone !
Is there anyone who can clarify the hardware versions?
To my knowledge, the first version is that of ttrftech (edy555) .
Subsequently the version of hugen79 was introduced .
Which version is sold now? I imagine that of hugen79. Is the ttrftech version still on the market?
And are there others?

Pluto,
Hugen retailed the first NanoVNA based on edy555's open source design. It is the hardware version that is currently being marketed by all NanoNA clone manufacturers. In response to a request from edy555, Hugen has changed the name of his unit from NanoVNA. to NanoVNA-H to distinguish it from the other clone units. Hugen has said he will be offering an updated unit in mid October that has a case but the hardware design appears to be unchanged. A NanoVNA-H V2 is slated for release in 2020. Search this board for "NanoVNA-H V2" for info on it. A RTOS version, called the NanoVNA-F is now being sold, but it is a different beast.

Thanks hwalker !!
So the Hugen hardware schematics () *should* be that of the cards currently on the market?

Diego

Herb,
there appears to be both a "NanoVNA-H V2" and a (completely unrelated)
"NanoVNA 2" project. The latter project hasn't been very responsive to
questions about who they are, and just seem to have tagged onto the name
because of its popularity.

Pluto,
That looks like the design currently being sold. V2 will use two synthesizers that overlap and allow it to exceed a 1 GHz measurement range (see attachment).

Herb,
thanks for V2 logical schematics.
I'm following the V2 topic with a lot of interest.

The block diagram is missing the measurement of the reference signal?

Perhaps the nanoVNA-F could be added?

Thanks,

Thanks! Rather a pity that the two couldn't be combined.

Tidbits of info have been slow to trickle out. As Hugen's development team releases more details, you can be sure this group will get it out to its members.

I appreciate that some folks here seem interested in both.
Many messages with potentially useful content already here
lack context and often stray far from nominal topic,
requiring "reverse engineering" to exploit.

I focus on sorting descriptions of function for only NanoVNA-H
e.g. among firmware flavors.
For other examples, Windows 7 and Windows 10 user experience
differences are IMO poorly addressed by current documentation, and
I feel badly about not updating interactive menu tree for newer firmware..

For my own relatively trivial few contributions,
version control and documentation update coordination
provoke quite a lot of what is described for ducks as
"furiously paddling beneath the surface",
but I am only a poor and slow typist.

Rune,
Thanks, let us know if you get any additional info. Do you know how things are progressing between nanoVNA-saver and the NanoVNA-F? The command set doesn't seem to be as homogeneous as the NanoVNA-F developers insinuated.
