Deal on ebay

"Now that seller does not have anything to sell, looks as if it was a scam." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I count over 50 different items still for sell on his eBay store ( ). If it is a scam whoever bought one will be in good company as he has sold over a hundred nanoVNA's, and they shouldn't have any problems getting a refund from eBay if that many complaints start pouring in. On the other hand, this seller ( ) at $17 I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. Limited number of feedbacks, all feedback has almost identical wording, delivery date could be as long as 6th Dec. |

No, he still has them for sale - and a number of other things.? He has sold 130 NanoVNAs.? Now there is another Hong Kong seller selling them for $16.99.? That, in my mind, makes it less likely that the low price was a listing error and more likely it is a scam.? We buyers will get our money back if it is a scam? - eBay or Paypal will get stuck.? The log delivery time of 4-6 weeks means we won't know until mid- Nov.

Or, they might be dumping inventory to get liquidity.? Perhaps having something to do with the unrest? it looks strange, only a few buyers, some of them are no longer registered, other buyers did buy a lot of things from him.

Some ten years ago I took some Chinese lessons with a native speaker living in Denmark. She told us that there are different kind of copies being made. There is the "Original" which is copied 1:1 into an "A copy". This one is then subject to minor mods and cost optimization resulting in a "B copy". Again this "B copy" is then subject to further mods which becomes a "C copy" and so on for many levels of copying. I.e. from the "B copy" and onwards the quality is going from relaxed to dubious.

The U.S. is not a "remote region".? Of course if you live in a small island country like - say - the U.K. that could be a problem...? :-)

I just ordered one also. I bet we don't get them, but get some 10 cent trinket instead and an eventual refund.
After I ordered it, I saw the "delivery by Dec 6". That gives the seller free use of our money for 2-3 months. I got a counterfeit Kennedy half dollar as a souvenir the last time I bit on a "deal". The way the system works a merchant in China can setup an ebay account, collect a bunch of money from a "too good to be true" deal, buy merchandise and start a legitimate business on ebay under another account with money borrowed via scam. I just hope I don't get another gold plated counterfeit coin. I need the silver plated one too. That will give me the pair for the magic trick ;-) Have Fun! Reg |
What a great idea for the budding entrepreneur, errr scammer!? A twisted sort of crowdfunding...

I bit. It might work out and if the guy/gal does start a legit business
then more power to them. I already have one but it did not come all cased up like in some video I saw on YouTube and the LEDs are green. I really need to know what I can do with what I have. Does anyone have the skinny on a total newb/lid's resource for learning how to use the device or can point me in the right direction? It is amazing to have it but I am really sort of lost when trying to use it and how. It really is a 'teach a man to fish' situation. 73, Tryg On Mon, 30 Sep 2019 at 21:07, mike watts via Groups.Io <wy6k= [email protected]> wrote: What a great idea for the budding entrepreneur, errr scammer!
