Correction menu option ?

Can anyone tell me what the Correction option is doing ?

Applying it sends to create some kind of offset by 20db on the S11 display, but if I remove the 50 ohm
load then s11 baseline is minus 20db.

Enable/disable error term apply to the measurement result.
When you disable it, NanoVNA shows you uncorrected raw values (with no calibration apply).

When trying to evaluate / improve upon firmware calibration
by experiments with uncorrected data on hosts, e.g.
