NanoVNA-Saver Install :(
Dear Moderator, If this is in the wrong place, please move it to the right place.
There used to be some online servers where one could upload code and scripting and then just post the URL to a forum or newsgroup, spent the last 30 min searching, can't find a thing. So I apologize in advance for the hot-air and the inline error messages... It would appear that I'm not one of the fortunate ones that gets a clean install first time. My new NanoVNA-F should be here Wednesday, and I'm looking forward to seeing just what it can do. I live in an Apartment building with 8 neighbors and I'm going to try and build a low visual impact array for at least 10m and 6m. At one point I had a couple nice GDO's but those along with all my other gear and equipment was lost in a California WildFire several years ago, and after living in a 5th Wheel on my burned out property up until a year ago and then being homeless for this last year I'm very happy to be in a place of my own again... Don't want to get in trouble with anyone, but I really miss being OTA. Been a while since I brewed anything, but I'm hoping with the NanoVNA that process will be a bit more efficient. =========================== Here's what happened... Hi Bruce,
you need to post a solution to the problem in the NanoVNA-F fans forum because the hardware is different () than the tool used in this forum. The NanoVNA-F forum link: /g/nanovna-f I look like you had a problem installing Python and NanoVNA-Saver under Linux. You should read the wiki of this forum, there you will definitely find a solution to which module you need to install to work properly. -- Gyula HA3HZ |

you may find this note /g/nanovna-users/files/Nano%20VNA%20Saver/nanoVNA-H4%20software%20support%20under%20Ubuntu.pdf </g/nanovna-users/files/Nano%20VNA%20Saver/nanoVNA-H4%20software%20support%20under%20Ubuntu.pdf>, hidden away in /g/nanovna-users/files/Nano%20VNA%20Saver </g/nanovna-users/files/Nano%20VNA%20Saver>, to be of assistance. It's written for Ubuntu 18.04, but the principle of fully isolating NanoVNA Saver from other Python software is just as sound for later versions of Ubuntu & derivatives, including Mint.
