Your NanoVNA version
Hey Hugen,
I've been to your TaoBao site (), but even with English translation on the site/page, I can't figure out how to buy one. The shopping cart doesn't seem to work for me, and I'm not sure why the price should vary from 2-299 yuan. I guess there are different items for sale - maybe e.g. calibration kits or some. Do you sell it anywhere else? Siggi |

I have managed to place an order using the Chinese taobao site, which was rather interesting as I cannot read Chinese at all :) Hopefully you got my order in your shop Hugen ! I found a few things that were different to what I expected so maybe this will help: * You can enter your address before starting the purchase process. It is under your username then account. * Enter your address all on one line seperated by commas. If you hit enter after each line it will show a red error. * Use the standalone google translate page to translate your country name into Chinese Simplified. Then you can recognise the Chinese characters when you need to select it. * You need to click the image of the NanoVNA which then switches the price to 299, shown in the Red circle in Hugen's reply - the range in prices are for the various adapters pictured. Only one option is the VNA itself. * You need to select overseas in the option just above those little pictures too. Googles translate says "Shanghai to the country". Pick Overseas and then your country. * Google Chrome tries to translate by default, which breaks the "Buy" button so you need to turn off translate when you get to this point or use Firefox or something else. * Use the standalone google translate for the parts that don't make sense. Copy paste. Anyway I thought you deserved some reward for your work Hugen. I have no idea if I have actually purchased it correctly, time will tell :) Cheers, Roger On Fri, 5 Jul 2019 at 13:35, <hugen@...> wrote:

I'm not sure, either, because the clone maker will steal my test pictures directly. Checking the internal construction is an effective method. |
Hugen,
Are there any other differences with your design, other than the RF shields, that I should be looking out for? He hasn't shipped it yet. He talks about the shields in the description, so as soon as I get it, if it doesn't match the description I will file a dispute but I would like to know if there are other things that I should be aware of? thanks On Sun, Jul 7, 2019 at 08:51 PM, <hugen@...> wrote: On Sun, Jul 7, 2019 at 08:51 PM, <hugen@...> wrote:

Dear Hugen,
I own the two versions ( your designed version, black, with battery and shielded entries, and the "clone" white version ). I noticed that the mixers used in white version are SA602A instead of SA612A. Do you think that will be a issue ? have you put SA612A mixers on your model ? I have a huge performance differencies betwen the black and the white version. at 900MHz little more than 50 dB of dynamic range subsist with the black version but no more than 30dB with the white version. Do you think that can be only explained by the missing shielding ? (However when i made some test on HF and VHF frequencies, the results seems quite identicals). regards, David, F4HTQ. |
Can some one please help me to get the computer software to run my NanoVNA ?

I just tried to get the software but it was forbidden my access.
Can you please send me the link to get the software to run my nanoVNA? Did you try this:
Supposed to have it all. I obtained mine via a .RAR file or a zip file which I could send as well if the above does not do it. ________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Greg Ashley <Gregory@...> Sent: Monday, July 8, 2019 3:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [nanovna-users] Your NanoVNA version I just tried to get the software but it was forbidden my access. I just checked and nanoVNAsharp.zip is there. So this should work fine. Unzip and install; in my case was done under Windows 10. There is a dll file there and a Smith Chart back drop graph is in place. That way no generation of the chart is required via SW.

taobao which is waiting to ship. I agree there are issues with the bridge. Above 300MHz return loss measurements become quite noisy at only around 15dB RL. I think using an external bridge connected between port 1 and port 2 to do the RL measurement will work much better. In that case the calibration would need to be done on a PC instead of on the unit (without firmware mods) Roger On Tue, 9 Jul 2019 at 13:22, <hugen@...> wrote:
