Windows 10 SW for the NanoVNA-F V2

 

Hi,

I joined this group today.?

On the 8th of Feb I bought my 1st nanoVNA (Model: SDRGEEK NanoVNA-F V2 (50kHz-3GHz) from Sysjoint via Amazon).

The downloaded manual from Sysjoint had a link to the Windows 10 SW called NanoVNA Saver, but the link does not work. I also checked on github.com and elsewhere but cannot find any downloadable exe file for this NamoVNA Saver SW.

I am anxious to try out the different functions on my VNA including any available Windows 10 SW for the unit.

Can anyone help me find ANY software (free or for a fee) for my VNA?

Hello Glenn,

Here is a link to the download site for NanoVNA-Saver:



The latest version 0.6.3 has not been compiled for Windows, so the latest Windows version is 0.6.2. Scroll down a short way until you see ‘Assets’ just above the date of March 5, 2023 for Version 0.5.5. Click on ‘Assets’, which should show four files. Click on ‘NanoVNASaver.win.x64.zip’ to download the file you want.

A tricky moment is connecting the NanoVNA to the PC. I advise you :
- Plug in the cord with nanaoVNA set to Off
- Switch nanaoVNA to ON
- launch nanovna-saver

Immediately, so as not to forget later, do on the nanaoVNA: CALBRATE/RESET. This is essential because nanaovna-saver does not do it for you. If we forget to do this, we can find ourselves, on the Smith of nanaovna-saver, with points which are outside the great circle.

I appreciate the start-up tips, as well!

I successfully downloaded & uploaded to my OneDrive Ham Folder the latest compiled Windows 64-bit SW and will install it on my PC when I am back home (currently traveling).

Anxious to see how it works!
