Re: More recall slots?

This is actually not a shortcoming in any of my SD cards but rather a bug in the firmware. The root cause of the issue here is that the magic bytes (the four bytes that start the file) are set to 00 00 00 00. Manually editing one of the calibration files in a hex editor and replacing the magic bytes with 52 4e 4f 43 (the expected values, e.g. PROPERTIES_MAGIC in the source) results in a file that can be loaded without issue (it has the expected frequencies and calibration points).

I've opened an issue here:

Re: More recall slots?

Bought a 32gb card today (smallest I could find), formatted it as FAT32 with the "SD Card Formatter" app (per another thread in this group) and I still get "Format err" any time I try to read a calibration I've just saved.

Can someone else running Dislord v1.2.20 try:

- Turn device on

- CALIBRATE
- SAVE
- SAVE TO SD CARD
- TEST.CAL

- SD CARD
- LOAD
- LOAD CAL
- TEST.CAL

And see if it works for you?

If it does, can you send me the "TEST.CAL" so I can compare with what I'm seeing?

FAT

Makes sense--I'll see if I have any other cards on the RV.

It does write the exact number of expected bytes (16,216) but the magic
header seems to be wrong, which would seem to indicate an issue like you've
described.

Should one prefer FAT or exFAT?

Re: More recall slots?

Not all SD cards work, so you may need to try a different make, max 32GB.
This has to do with a particular mode the firmware uses to keep it simple.
You can search the messages in this group for SD card to find lots of
previous threads on this topic. I bought a set of 5 cheap 16GB Patriot
cards from Amazon that work fine.

Re: NanoVNA-App Latest Version Link?

It looks like you want the GitHub fork from DiSlord.

This seems to be more current and matches the version number you are looking for.

Re: NanoVNA-App Latest Version Link?

Thanks. That's where I was but I was confused by the last commit date and the lack of a version shown.

NanoVNA-App Latest Version Link?

Greetings All,

I am having difficulty finding the download link for the most recent Windows version of the NanoVNA-App. I am wondering if there is a later version than 1.1.215 (which I already happen to have but I have lost the download link for it)? All I could find via the GitHub link, which I obtained from the WiKi here, was an executable download for ver 1.1.208 thus I presume I must of ended up looking in the wrong place. I wonder where to look in the future for the latest versions?

I wonder if someone here can point me to an up-to-date download link for the latest version NanoVNA-App executable (exe) file for Windows?

Re: Dislord v1.2.24.dfu

Yes, this two dfu-files what You find in App folder on Github is Firmwares for NanoVNA H and H4...

If You download only the exe file ( Windows app...) You can also update it because it is built in.

Re: Dislord v1.2.24.dfu

There is also version 1.2.24 for H and H4 embedded in version 1.1.215 of NanoVNA-App.
