I¡¯ve had this AVG thing with all versions from v.0.0.3 through to v0.0.12 except for v0.0.11¡­ Each time I¡¯ve clicked the ¡°I Trust This File¡± option, but still have to wait for AVG to approve

It's a tricksy little thing...the screen protector film is frequently UNDER the front bezel. You need to take the front bezel OFF before you can easily peel the film off using the handy green tab. 73,
