Do you want to add it to the Files section or let Oristo add it? and update the Wiki. On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, 12:22:37 p.m. GMT-5, Joe St. Clair AF5MH <saintc@...> wrote:

Re: NanoVNA-Q firmware update 0.4.4
#nanovna-q
Also NanoVNA-Q firmware has si5351 status checking, so if there is a problem, you will see PLL indicator on the screen.
And also it allows to pause sweep and connect NanoVNA to PC and read paused sweep with no need to reset device. Some of NanoVNA-Q features was added to NanoVNA-H_20191125. |
Re: NanoVNA-Q firmware update 0.4.4
#nanovna-q
strange that you still didn't know that.
Some NanoVNA-Q fixes even used in NanoVNA-H firmware. It has fixed frequency rounding errors, and multithreading issues. Also it provides additional features, such as: - improved gain control for NanoVNA-H devices - better battery indicator - vbat_offset command for battery voltage calibration - color command for configure custom colors - scanraw command for raw measurements with unlimited point count - impedance label which shows complex impedance for current marker position - more precise data transfer from NanoVNA to PC - average mode which allows to perform more precise calibration and get less noisy measurements - a couple of bug fixes and improvements |

NanoVNA-Q is alternative firmware for NanoVNA-H device |
Re: NanoVNA-Q firmware update 0.4.4

OK, I see NanoVNA-F, NanoVNA-H, plain vanilla NanoVNA,
but who is NanoVNA-Q ?? Where did he come from ? The good news is, there are 23 more letters available !! 73, Dick, W1KSZ ________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of QRP RX <qrp.ddc@...> Sent: Tuesday, November 26, 2019 9:45 AM To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Subject: [nanovna-users] NanoVNA-Q firmware update 0.4.4 #nanovna-q NanoVNA-Q 0.4.4 released: Added average mode which allows to reduce measurement noises. Re: Playing with my nano
I built a fixture to make it easy to test through-hole and SMT parts
You can use the ZIF socket with resistance as calibration standards and it works well up into the UHF. Dan On Mon, Nov 25, 2019 at 8:08 PM Bob Albert via Groups.Io <bob91343= [email protected]> wrote: I connected a piece of coax to the nano and, at the far end, connected |
Updated document
Hi All
I have update my calibration document for male and female calibration. I have added a set of screen copies how to set the calibrations for NanoVNA-saver to compensate for the problem Rune made clear recently, that a open C0 of 0 fF was illegal. So now it works perfectly with the settings described. The updated document attached and also available from the link and female calibration NanoVNA-H.pdf <> Kind regards Kurt |
Re: NanoVNA connection to iPad?
What app would Sam run on the iPad though?Yes, hardware support is prerequisite Are there VNA iPad apps? (Haven't looked)Sadly, iOS web browsers do not support webUSB apps, and there are seemingly no free VNA apps, and I find only one commercial (FieldFox) app However, Python is supported on iOS, and scikit-rf apps exist.. .. as does Jupyter Notebook, e.g. Related: |

there's currently no way to merge the two pieces of software, as NanoVNA-Saver is Open Source, and NanoVNA Partner is not. :-) Going by the screenshots, it looks like it's merely a modification of hugen's NanoVNASharp. He has previously been quite firm that he had not plans to open source his software. -- Rune / 5Q5R On Tue, 26 Nov 2019 at 12:32, CT2FZI <ct2fzi@...> wrote:
