You're using Linear scale on NanoVNA display and Logmag scale on PC software. This is why there is difference. By the way, there is more functional software NanoVNA software for PC: it allows to capture screenshots and show more trace types.

Can anyone tell me what the Correction option is doing ?
Applying it sends to create some kind of offset by 20db on the S11 display, but if I remove the 50 ohm
load then s11 baseline is minus 20db.

1090MHz. (jpole with 1/4-3/4 wave balun and shorted 1/4 wave stub filter
for rtl-sdr dongle))
See attached.
That output was with the antenna un-tweaked after building from nec2c
dimensions - very impressed with the results.

you're right: The algorithm assumes that the first -3dB point it finds is
the -3dB point of the filter. I'm not certain what's a good and generic way
to avoid this to allow filters to have that much ripple?

Did you tried NanoVNA-Q firmware? It should fix that. I also working on further improvement, but don't know if I will complete it because si5351 has complicated behavior when you trying to use it up to 300 MHz

I still keep trying , still no luck, running on Windows10.
The devicve manager shows the device is connected to Com11, NanoVNA-Saver connects it on Com11 , no problem at all, runs fine. When device is in DFU mode NanoVNA-Saver can't connect it either.
Windows devicemanager shows an error under "Sensors" MicrosoftVisualStudioLocationSimulator"? error is related to "WUDFRd.sys" and a "Haldetector", MSVLocationsimulator reports "you have the latest version"? when I start a search for updates.
In Devicemanager under? USBdevices , DFU bootloader has disappeared
I can find? WUDFRd.sys in Windows/System32.
Switching off MSVSLocation Simulator does not help, same problem.
I think I'm going to de-instal Microsoft Visual Studio and see what happens.

Since the last commit to this was several years ago - there is most likely some bugs introduced by newer version of Android.
It would be really nice if CHO45 could integrate this into his webUSB app

All nanoVNA use the internal SI5351 outside the formal supported spec. e.g. upto 300MHz in fundamental mode. Above 300MHz it switches to harmonics mode (till 900 MHz) and even further harmonics modes above 900MHz
Some do work till 300MHz in fundamental mode , others less good
The latest firmware has the "threshold" command to reduce the maximum frequency for fundamental mode.
Setting (as an example) this the threshold to 280MHz will have the nanoVNA switch to harmonics mode above 280MHz. You may not even notice this.

F-2 might be a nice instrument to wait for... hopefully w/full 4 port setup extended f range and the larger display.
Really I think there are solutions for the current display issue including the android and laptop/PC software.

I for one would like to see options to hack in a larger screen. Even one
the size of the screen used on the HP/Agilent/Keysight HP8753D. It would be
great to be able to turn one of these into a bench instrument. Maybe a DVI
compatible output or standard VGA. After being used to a HP8753 screen size
it's hard to go back and having the response time of the built in display
is a must.
The smaller ones are great for field work but even those could use a larger
screen. Something like an option to use one of the ones used with the
Raspberry Pi like below would be wonderful.
