Hi Antonio

Greetings from New ZealandIf I am reading your post correctly, you changed a comma to a full stop to get your nano working on Win 10?

My nano already works on win 10, but does not work on win 7

The light has come, and I have changed the decimal comma, (,) by the decimal point. (.) In my W10-64bits configured for Spanish language and VOIL?!.

Which file are you editing ?

cheers

Check that the screen bezel is not compressing the edge of the touch screen.

DiSlord,

FYI - It looks like you've reached the maximum you're allowed to receive via PayPal with your current account settings. Until fixed, no one can send you any more money.

Folks,

I have been keeping track of all of DiSlord's firmware updates, bug fixes and design notes for the past 1.5 years and have compiled a huge list of forum posts that have been converted to a PDF file with all design ideas and configuration info referenced in one place! (100 pages)

DiSlord formally released V1.1.00 today on his Github page

So - I've added that info to this updated document and will post it in the files sections on both the NanoVNA-Users group and the Beta Testers group.

As DiSlord mentioned, this document is a great source of all the enhancements that have been made to the NanoVNA ans extended family of VNA devices.

The document can be referred to for colour codes, how to connect serial and BlueTooth dongles, add RTC xtals, SD card slots and much more.

Enjoy - there's a LOT of info !!
Please consider buying DiSlord a beer for his hard work.
His contact info is on the Version page of the firmware.

Cheers,
Larry

If you want to track the changes, you can find the change in a pdf file under the names of the programmers on my website.
True, I haven¡¯t had a chance to review the latest one yet, but what the programmer has posted is the information in it.

I'm surprised people are still using the app to be honest.

I think the VNA's need a good new single app written using the free to use QT
C++ development environment so that it can be easily compiled on all the main

used it over the years for many writings.
Well, not to discredit the hard work of any other contributor of nanovna apps and firmware but the only apps and firmware I run my nanovna-h is yours. I am surprise you think it is not used by the community. You did build wonderful set of features in your app and firmware that cannot be found in other firmwares or apps !

Re: NanoVNA-H (apparently a worse clone) Firmware compatability? #firmware

Thanks for the help guys.

I loaded 1.1.0, have been playing with it a bit, and really like the improvements.

Thanks to Dislord, Hugen, and eddy555 for this handy little instrument.

Thanks for the driver file Roger, but it is a no go.

I plugged in the nano hardware and removed the existing driver.

Looking via the device manager I get this

I then ran the file you provided and checked with USBD

But still no connection or com port showing up in the application.

Tried to use the device manager to update the driver in the usb section but windows states best driver installed.

The error message in the application ini regarding file not found is the same.

cheers

Have you manually installed the correct driver for the NanoVNA?

Windows 7 does not have the driver installed for exchanging data so you have to install it manually. The procedure to download it from ST is cumbersome and requires registration for some reason. So I have placed it on my Box cloud drive for you to easily download. Here is the link:

Just unzip it and install the 32 bit or 64 bit version based on which CPU you have. You may have to uninstall whatever driver is currently there when you plug in the NanoVNA.

What's best for one person may not be for another. Try them all and keep the one you're comfortable with and that meets your needs.?
