Re: NanoVNA-V2 from Tindie
Hello, I fully agree. My SAA-V2 is still in transit, but I don't care, as it with today's issues (COVID) sure takes longer. I am sorry to mention another group here, but we already have the

I have had no luck with 0.8.4.3 on my H4. The displayed charts are seemingly random and varying on each sweep. When I first connected NanoVNASaver I got an error, see first attached file. Second file

Re: duplexer
I am afraid you really need a good spectrum analyzer to do this job. And, even with a good piece of test equipment, it is kind of an art to do it properly. Get some help from someone who is

Re: SWR with a NanoVNA
Check the calibration for VSWR on the MFJ first. Check cables. If another (hopefully known good) external meter is available, I'd double check everything. I'll note that I've had to rethink similar

Re: duplexer
CAUTION: The NANOVNA's do not have the required dynamic range to properly tune a set of duplexers (cans). A properly tuned set of cans, 6 of them in BPBR configuration, will typically exhibit somewhat

Re: SWR with a NanoVNA
To properly use the MJF-872, you need to first set the function switch to "FORWARD". Key the transmitter and adjust the "SENSITIVITY" knob to full scale on the meter (not pinning). Then switch the

Re: SWR with a NanoVNA
You can do some easy checks before asking for service. Chack that a 50 Ohm load gives you a SWR = 1, and 25 Ohm (two 50 Ohm loads connected to a tee connector) gives SWR = 2. Anything away from it

If the nanoVNA and the rig agree, issue is likely with MFJ SWR meter. Contact MFJ for service. -- de Al, KE2BK

Re: duplexer
It really depends upon whether the duplexer is a pass only or a pass notch. There are multiple methods so I will give one procedure. 1. Connect the duplexer antenna port on a good 50 ohm load. 2.

The internal meter and the external meter are at different points on the transmission line and depending on the wavelength should provide different SWR readings. At HF maybe not so much. At VHF and up

Re: SWR with a NanoVNA
If you have a bad mismatch, the reactive part of the impedance will vary along the length of the feed line. What your rig sees at the end of the feedline, and what the MFJ sees with a jumper and your
