I found this bit of information while getting my flex up and working with JTDX..


Could be why we don't make a contact sometimes with JTDX

I was trying to work 3D2RRR and called him.. he came right back with a +10 report but I never saw anything after his report and he did not move me down frequency... I also noted that all the stations he worked were on a separate line and not the group response I am use to seeing in WSJT... My radio is a Flex 6700 and I had the software set to fake it... it WSJT I do not need to do this but tried it to see it it would work... I switched to WSJT and worked him easy and he moved me down freq. and I got the unusual group report showing me and several others.

JTDX does not support using Hound Frequency-Control (HoundFC) on the regular FT8 frequencies such as 14.074, 21.074 etc. I switched to another program to work 3D2RRR.

Does any one know Alec Berman ???? Is he local or on the east Coast?? The 12 meg frequency is the one reported on DX Summit and he heard me transmitting then that means I hear FT4GL on that frequency..

I think that is the frequency I heard him work a French station on --? may be making skeds with friends in France, not using standard dx frequencies…
