Trail Report 1/3
Both Backyard and Golf Course trails entirely groomed today, and they are in great shape. ?Amazing how wet it still is in the woods and on the course, but we’ve been able to fill in snow in rough spots and re-route around the worst spot, so for now, we are entirely open and ready for weekend action.
Happy Trails, Ken |

Hi, Stupid question:? because I don't know the trails, where should I park and how do I find them? Thanks, Kristin Lein On Fri, Jan 3, 2020 at 10:36 PM Marty Vadis <marty.vadis@...> wrote:

开云体育Kristi - Not at all stupid; very reasonable question! ?You have two main options for accessing trails:1. Park in the lot just below the golf course club house off Fort Road just beyond the marina heading out of town. The lot is regularly plowed, and the golf course trail starts and ends there. 2. Take Mondamin and locate the Backyard Trail trailhead (it’s about 1/4 mile east of Penny Lane; you’ll see the big “for sale” sign for that large parcel of lots and you’ll see grooming equipment on the side of the unplowed roadway heading north off Mondamin). Just beyond the trailhead on the opposite side of Mondamin are the last set of Fairway Suites rental condos that I don’t believe are rented in the winter but are plowed out. We have parked there when skiing the Backyard Trail only. The two trails are connected by a short trail that runs between the golf course and that trailhead just east of that last condo - you’ll see it. Hope that helps! 开云体育Ken,I just want to say a huge THANK YOU. I can’t wait to get back on my skies. I’m going to check with my Surgeon and see if I have a green light to start skiing next week. Again Thank you for all your hard work.? Steve 612-839-9211 sclennick@... On Jan 3, 2020, at 7:32 PM, Kenneth Myhre via Groups.Io <kenneth.myhre@...> wrote:
