Ski Club Update

I want to let you know there may be a pretty?simple way to set up the Ski Club? as a non-profit entity without going?through? a bunch of paper work and hoops. It sounds good to me.

Before we go down this road I wanted to check in to see if there is support for this idea,

We may be able to become an affiliate of St. John's here on the Island. There is some precedent?for this. As you probably know, Woods Hall is an entity of St. John's and gets the non-profit status from that relationship.
I have talked to some leaders at St. John's and the response from them was very positive, but this would need to be approved by the full Council. I have written a proposal for the St. John's council that is attached.Their next meeting is March 11.

Before I send it to St. John's council for their consideration, please respond with your input thoughts.

Also, Ken Myhre has been keeping track of the time and expense to groom the trails so we have a baseline?to know how much effort and expense is needed.

Thanks

Marty Vadis?
