Trail Report 2/2/20

Backyard and Golf Course trails groomed today. Both look great. Marnie reports that North End trail is still good, but warm weekend has exposed more wet spots, so come on cold and snow!

I just broke a snowshoe trail down to the end of the Burroughs Trail on the other side of the road, down to the Hemlocks. Not skiing I know... but it was still gloriously beautiful and creates another access for people.

Thank you, Janet!? I got myself some snowshoes for christmas and haven't yet tried them.? In fact, I've never been on snowshoes so that will be a wonderful place to start!

Kristin ¡the one problem spot is a rather large tree down across the trail. I could duck under, and it¡¯s better now that it¡¯s packed but with deep snow, a bit tricky. Other than that, it¡¯s easy. ?Snowshoeing is just like walking except you have really big feet :)
Have fun!
