I’ve got new snow shoes arriving within the week, so by the 17th I’ll be good to go. Maybe we can organize a snow shoe battalion!

We zipped around the golf course trail ... Great fun! ?Now need to get into the woods and get the real trails packed and tracked!
I’m leaving Friday for a week in CA; back the following Friday, so look forward to seeing you guys when you get back.

Golf course trail tracked as of 9:00 a.m. today (Wednesday); Marnie and I headed over there soon to give the trail a try!
If I had a pair of snowshoes I'd get out on the backyard trail to see what needs to be done before diving in with the snowmobile to attempt packing.? If anybody else gets onto that trail in the meantime, please post a report.

it's coming back to me...I now remember having to snowshoe up and down that ravine with the little bridge before I could go with the machine.makes a big difference

As of 2:00 this afternoon the golf course trail is packed and will be ready to groom tomorrow morning!? Only got stuck once, but it was a classic bury-job.? So much snow, so soft and light, makes it very hard to climb any real hills, and though
I suspected as much, had to find out the hard way.
I’ll plan to groom the trail for classic skiing first thing in the morning, so here we go 2019/2020 ski season!

On North End trail we may need to bring snowshoes in and walk the ravines to pack ‘em. Count me in on that (only problem for me is I’m off island starting tomorrow until about Dec 17....what timing eh?) I have no objection however, if Keith wants to do my portion
of snowshoeing?.
