CFA's Board of Directors met via teleconference Wednesday, March 25th.? Some of the decisions made were:
Crab & Mallet.? The board voted to score this show which was held on March 14-15, 2020.??
The Annual.? The Board voted to cancel this year's Annual Meeting scheduled for Spokane, Washington, June 19-20, 2020. Anyone who has paid the delegate registration fee will be reimbursed.??
Updated Epoints with points earned at shows not reflected in the most recent posted listing for shows through March 7-8, 2020, will be posted by tomorrow. Please note that the Board has not yet discussed the possibility of lowering the minimums for our various awards, the residency requirement, etc.? There will be another Special Meeting of the Board on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 which will address these issues.
Compensation to Clubs affected by the cancellation of shows for non-recoverable expenses was discussed and some of these costs were approved for reimbursement as included in the attached Notes from Regional Director Kathy Black.? Show license fee/insurance fee ($200) will be refunded for shows during the cancellation period (March 16 - May 31).? Clubs that applied for and received the pre-show $500 sponsorship can keep the money for whatever use they want.? Post-show sponsorship money for advertising ($500) will be increased up to $1,000 upon submission of receipts to show the expense was paid.? This will also include proof that the club attempted to recoup the money spent for advertising and was not successful so actually incurred the expense.? Clubs that spent more than $1,000 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.??
