If you use a different default browser, check for a similar option. ? I also sometimes use Google Chrome and Brave browsers. ?I see the option in Chrome’s Share, but not in Brave. ?If your Default browser doesn’t have that option, create the Home Screen Bookmark in Safari. ?Since it’s just a bookmark, it will then open automatically in your default browser.

Can I make an "app" in iOS from a website?

Near the end of last winter, my wife and son purchased me Nordic Skiing equipment, but last winter was mild enough that even in February and March I’d been able to get out on my road bicycle for exercise so didn’t start using the skis, and just a few days after the skis, boots, and poles came home on one of those unseasonably warm days, I turned left and south onto a street where the late afternoon sun at almost 50° North latitude produced almost impossible glare, that turn taking me right through a sunlight-obscured pothole, and the resulting crash and facial injuries sidelined me for a few months from getting EITHER onto the saddle or on to the skis.

But this winter is different. I’ve had yet another bicycle crash, and I’ve been forbidden by you-can-guess-whom from bicycling outside, but now that it’s snowing again I’ve discovered some delightful winter Montana recreation (hiking the surrounding hills on packed trails AND spending time on the immaculately groomed trails at the local Nordic Ski center, another 1500 feet “up” in altitude from Bozeman. This is serious stuff. They actually train Olympic athletes there in the winter sport of “Biathlon” (let’s just say it’s even MORE arcane than “Curling”–look them both up if you have to).

All the regulars at the Crosscut Mountain Nordic Center use a website that permits them to log their activities via GPS and the dates/times of their visits on a scanner that sits outside the warming hut. It’s not an app, but many regulars seem to have found a way to wrap the site in something that makes it BEHAVE like one. It’s not Apple’s problem when the OP can’t read instructions.

Or perhaps you can go to the HP website & follow the instructions, rather than just downloading the first file you see.

It (the HP website) very clearly states to use AirPrint.

Follow the instructions.

I dug around some more and?I found another reference to this issue, which says to remove existing drivers and then set it up with Apple AirPrint.

Your printer, HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276nw,??is listed as compatible on Apple’s “About AirPrint” article:

Here is the HP article that describes how to remove any existing drivers and then use AirPrint.??It’s not the same printer, but the principle should be the same.

Re: New iOS/iPadOS Status Icons

That info I found on the Internet about the new icon with arrows circling around a cog on a blue background was incomplete. I just downloaded a file from Google Drive and the icon appeared very briefly, while the file downloaded. So I “think” it indicates that a file is being downloaded, not just system updates. Of course the latter will be more obvious, because the files are so large.

Re: Deleting photos

I have two collections. One synced. One not. I use two Photos libraries to do this. If you option-click Photos to open it, you will get a dialog to select the library file you want to open. This dialog also allows you to create a “New” library and store it wherever you like. The original library will be labeled the “system”?library but otherwise they go by their filenames. ?My second library is on an external drive because it is very large and I don’t want it synced to iCloud.

You can only have one library open at a time, but you can have as many libraries as you wish. There are utilities that make switching a bit simpler. I don’t bother.

There is another strategy that I don’t use so proceed with caution, but you can deselect “copy photos” in the settings. This allows you to store originals outside the library, but store links to them in the library. Linked files are not synced to iCloud. Using this strategy, photos you take with your phone will be synchronized, but Photos that you drag into Photos on your Mac will not be synchronized because they are links only. If you want to do this selectively, you’ll have to do some juggling with turning this setting on and off.

HI

The only way to delete from phone without impacting the iCloud Library is stop synching the iPhone photos ?from using the iCloud.?

Goto Settings, your Apple ID, iCloud, Saved to iCloud section, tap Photos and turn off the Sync this Phone.?

When needed you can manually import pictures from the phone into Photos by using the cable connection to your Mac.
