Mail in Catalina

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Below are two screen shots from mail. One is from my mail program on my MacBook Air (running Mojave) and the other is from my mail program on my iMac (running Catalina).

This is in Mojave - notice the headers From, Date Received, and Subject - and more importantly notice the vertical lines in front of those headings. With those vertical lines one can adjust the with of the columns.

Here is a similar screen shot from Mail in Catalina - it¡¯s missing the column headings and the vertical lines used to adjust the width of the columns.

How can I make Mail in Catalina look like Mail in Mojave?

Hi Harry,

I don't think you can.

You're kinda stuck with the one true look.

Here is a long discussion from the apple discussion board (mostly ranting):

Thanks Bill. Does anyone know how you can lodge a complaint with Apple?

You can go to

to submit feedback.

Have fun, just don't hold your breath. I've reported bugs in software for years through the developers' channel, and have almost always received a 'marked as duplicate', but I've pretty much never seen any fixes.

Apple tells you they do not reply to
Comments in Feedback, but I¡¯ve written many times hoping someone is paying attention.
