Re: Any Apple Remote Desktop Users in the Group?
I use other tools because ARD has limitations. If you like the way ARD works, you might check out a nice tool called Screens that I use from the desktop and iOS devices. That said, ARD does not work between certain combinations of versions of the Mac OS. The good news is that Apple hasn’t deprecated it entirely, yet. USB and USB-3 often have the same physical connector. Why would you do that? Do you have a device that has the funky flatter version of USB-3 connector? If you do you can use a dongle, or you can use a more commonly available USB-3 to USB-A cable. Jonathan On May 14, 2020, at 12:19 PM, Harry Jacobson-Beyer <hejb44@...> wrote:

The audio port goes to Bose speakers. On one side the USB-C goes to the power supply, the other goes to Ethernet.
On the other side one goes to an HDMI for for the external monitor & the other goes to TimeMachine.
Done, nothing left for another USB-C external drive that I’ll remove & store elsewhere. No place for a USB-C thumb drive, no place to plug in the iPhone or iPad.
The laptop is hanging off the back of the desk & difficult to get to to unplug the only thing I can switch out, the TimeMachine. It would be good to have a multi port USB-C to sit on the desk.

Many devices use that 2.45 GHz frequency. Our old garage door opener used it and I’d often have Bluetooth problems when the door was opened or closed. Do you have any other wireless things around? Wi-Fi can use?that frequency. If you have an external USB device, unplug it because it might be radiating.
