Apple is getting killed isn¡¯t it, once again Buffett is wise in his investing decisions by dumping much of his Apple.

Tariffs are going to really hurt Apple, stock should go low enough to become a buy.

Much of everything we consume is made in China, the one that really bothers is Pharmaceuticals, man they make most of the drugs we consume¡­not a good idea and by tearing up everyones stocks, retirements, it¡¯s hoped that in the long run we will bring much of industry back to this country. The pain in the short term is not going to be good.

?Not that anyone Trump-adjacent would care about facts, but in fact Biden¡¯s order banned oil drilling off the coast of Florida and much of the Atlantic and Pacific coasts under the authority of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act. He did not (and could not) ban it in the Gulf of Mexico (or even in the Golf of Mexico, which sounds like Trump¡¯s latest resort proposal in Cozumel). When I went to zoom out on the Weather app, I noticed an otherwise well-known body of water labeled as Gulf of America. <rant>Why, oh why, is Apple (or its app maker) going along with this silly publicity stunt? It brings back the memories of the idiocy of Freedom Fries.</rant>

For location services a GPS system needs to simultaneously see at least three of the system satellites. There are normally at least 24 satellites in the whole system. It can use them to triangulate its position in 3-D space. I was amazed to see a couple of weeks ago that the Blue Ghost lunar lander was able to use the earth-orbiting GPS satellites to figure out where it is on the moon.

What I am about to report to you happened once before.

Yesterday my wife and I were driving east on the Watterson XWay about 1:50 p.m. We had WAZE running on her phone and connected to Apple Car Play. Around Taylorsville Rd. WAZE no longer knew where we were - it kept thinking we were off the highway and kept trying to route us back on. I had cruise control on. When cruise control is engaged and you go from one speed zone to a lesser speed zone the car automatically slows down. When WAZE thought we were off the highway the car began breaking. I turned off the cruise control to keep the car from breaking. Once we got off the highway I pulled over and used the car¡¯s navigation system and the same thing occurred - it didn¡¯t recognize where we were. I tried WAZE on my phone - same result.

I figure there must be something wrong with the GPS Satellite. Is there any way to check if a satellite is malfunctioning? I mean if my phone, my wife¡¯s phone, and the car¡¯s navigation system are acting as if they don¡¯t know where they are then it¡¯s got to be the satellite, RIGHT????

I had the same thing a few months ago with an Epson printer. I finally deleted the printer & reinstalled. That solved the problem.

I assume you are talking about the Dock. The items in the dock are aliases. If you accidentally remove and item from the dock it is still on your computer. Just do a search for the folders.

OK. Somehow and I still have not figured out how, but I have lost a file folder from bar at the bottom of the screen on my MACBook. Since day one I had this file icon (actually two) in the row with mail, browser contacts, iMessage and such. One was a folder with ALL my apps in it in alpha order. And then my Downloaded files.

I do not remember what I was doing that somehow both of them got deleted and I can not figure out how to get them back. I did make a file folder and copied some programs to it and it is on my desktop. It¡¯s not ALL the programs/apps tho just what I put in it.

How do I get those back?
