Elon is freaking out, saying Apple doesn’t have a clue what they are doing & he will not allow any of his employees to have an Apple device while at work! Sour grapes as Apple didn’t go with his AI.

?Just. Wow. Evidently Wall Street is excited about Apple’s new AI stuff.
I read one article that said that the distinction this year is that the new AI features will only run on the latest devices. So everyone has a reason why they HAVE to upgrade their phones this year after mildly incremental upgrades the last several years.
That means greater sales this year in Apple’s high-profit hardware categories and Wall Street is clearly PUMPED about that.

Apple uses AWS, Amazon failed to follow Apple’s security guidelines.?
John
Apple alerted Amazon about a potential cloud security risk AWS changed its data-deletion process after Apple flagged a potential security risk. In 2023, Apple found that AWS had failed to delete data from its closed cloud accounts. AWS now has a more robust data-deletion process. There was no unauthorized access to Apple data.

?Ok, sorry for all the posts, but I just learned something new while trying to troubleshoot. When you are in Safari on the iPhone, if you click on the the AA (Little A, big A) in the address bar it will bring up some other options. One is to request the desktop/mobile site, depending on which you are currently viewing. You can save that setting for individual sites by clicking on the Website Settings option instead and selecting how you want to view the site moving forward. I still think something changed with how Tiktok is being viewed, but at least I can set the site to always go to the desktop version, which is fine for my purposes. Just wanted to share as it looks like some other options such as translating, listening to and adjusting the size of the page are all under there as well, which I never knew existed. Learn something new all the time.?
