I was asked to establish a computer lab and gave the powers that be two choices and fortunately they chose the Apple //e computer for the lab. There was a lot of parental input and they were pretty vociferous about not wanting pcs.

I had a cataloguing program for the //e which was very helpful. But I never got around to automating the library. There wasn¡¯t much affordable library automation software back them. When I left they hired two people to replace me - a librarian and a computer person. That was very gratifying.
