Pen, may not help at all but I’ve cured many Mac’s, one that was frozen by using Disk Warrior to rebuild the Directory. Might be worth a try. John

I don’t remember anything about rebuilding directories on SSDs. What I remember is a discussion about optimizing with things like defraggers. Fragmentation is no longer a big problem with SSDs
