Re: Add transceiver to flrig
Probably easier to add an xmlrpc server to kcat.? I'll be back home tomorrow and will look at the difficulty. David

Re: Add transceiver to flrig
Yes, I¡¯m using kcat. Made one small change to make the scanner useful. Other than that, works great off the shelf. My goal is to use fldigi with the kachina. Thought adding kachina to flrig would be

Re: Add transceiver to flrig
http://www.w1hkj.com/files/kcat/ The equivalent of flrig but specifically written for the KC505DSP (mine is on a shelf in the garage).? All of the source code is there.? Might make it easier for you

Re: Add transceiver to flrig
Bill, Maybe you didn't know that Dave offers a CAT program for the 505DSP? See http://w1hkj.com/kcat-help/ Download from http://w1hkj.com/files/kcat/ 73, -Joe- K0OG

Add transceiver to flrig
Dave (or anybody I guess): I'd like to create a Kachina 505DSP module for flrig. I've programmed to the 505 serial api before, so I'm not starting from nothing. Before I just dive into flrig source

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Rick, That Rx/TRX RsID is a new addition that's not in the manual yet. Reading the tool tip it tells me that if checked fldigi will not change freq on EOT even though the user allows the frequency

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
And there is another EOT selection option at the end in the Rx modes menu. What does that do? I am using fldigi 4.2.03. Scott W3WT

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Actually I have the box on the Configure -> IDs -> RsID tab, the bottom right Reed-Solomon ID (Tx) section, set for End of xmit ID. I set that most of the time when I am operating digital modes

Possible bug macro timer and Thor56 image mode
fldigi v4.2.04.05 Linux Bookworm I have a picture CQ macro I generally use on Thor22; <TIMER:170><TXRSID:on><TX><ID> CQ CQ de <MYCALL> - sending 320x240 greyscale pic..

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Hi Joe FYI I also use it for CQ's but it is also very handy to have it set if I want to dynamically change modes/speeds in mid QSO. ie if the condx improve and a higher speed or less errors is

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Ah, okay. It definitely sounds like a Good Thing. I've left it alone to avoid breaking something. ? Thanks, Cliff, and 73! Joe KB6WIJ

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Joe, RsID = Received Signal Identification. If the transmitting turns on TxID, i.e. Transmitted ID, then if you have RxID turned on fldigi will tell you what the signal mode is and the frequency is.

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
I'm a newbie with a newbie question. What is RsID and what is it for, anyway? Is it a Good Thing? 73, Joe KB6WIJ

Re: Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Rick, That checkbox turns on transmission of the ID at the end of the transmission. I leave it off personally, but it can be useful. The checkbox has nothing to do with the Transmit Modes button. That

Rx/Tx RsID EOT
Cliff, maybe you can answer this one: In fldigi 4.2.04 (and as far back as I can remember in previous versions) the tooltip for the checkbox in Configure -> ID's -> RsID, for the checkbox Rx/Tx RsID

Re: OT Re: [linuxham] Warnings starting fldigi audio #fldigi
Tnxs Adrian Don't know what pipewire does for resampling. Here it's the fldigi client (Olivia) at 8000Hz float32le bidirectional with the rig at 48000Hz s16le. That's a straight division, but I

Re: FSQ debugging window
Oh Cliff I forgot to mention - I recently learned that you can use the F2 function key to replay the last text you entered in the blue window - so that works great when timeout eats it - no need to

OT Re: [linuxham] Warnings starting fldigi audio #fldigi
OT Kind of unrelated Adrian, but wonder if you'd run (pulseaudio) pactl list and tell me what resampling converter is being used by default. I think in Debian it is often speex-float-<something> but
