If you can open and run FLDIGI, but you can't select sound cards or transmit, you may need to add your username to the dialout group. Open a terminal and type: sudo adduser fkatalenas dialout Reboot

Fixed it! When I setup WFVIEW, it specified using QT audio (default) and the default settings in their manual . Sine Fldigi does Port Audio, I set WFVIEW to Pot Audio and played with the settings
