In FLDigi 4.1.9 that I had on my old computer I was able to
set some things about WEFAX that now are disappeared in the
newer versions...
I have a new laptop, I installed the recent version of my
GNU/Linux OS, and some options are missing.
I don't have anymore the "LPM" setting, the FIR setting nor
the 4 bargraph showing START, PHASE, IMAGE... and I think
also the "skip phase" is missing.?
The
main problem is the "LPM" setting, because I can't set it
correctly to receive Kyodo News from Japan.
Kyodo
News require IOC576 with 60LPM and I can't set it
What
I receive now is basically a half page, the other half is
cut away and I can't solve this problem.
Is there some way to get back those settings for?WeFax? I think now it's unusable
for KYODO NEWS decoding.?

I am running Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon and Fldigi version 4.2.06.09 and I'm running into a problem. After a bit of operation Fldigi will lock up. When I check top it tells me Fldigi is using more than 100% CPU utilization. I have to kill and restart Fldigi. This happened with the stable version 4.2.06 and on another Linux Mint computer. I have no problems on the Windows 11 computer.
Does anyone else have this issue and is there a way I can trouble shoot this.
I have 7.7 gig of memory and 1 Terra Byte of storage.

I am having a hard time updating my CHIRP (radio programing) application on my Xubuntu system. Anyone have a link I can use to download the latest version?

I am looking for signed and notarized versions of GridTracker and JS8call for use on a Mac.
I have a Mac computer with an M2 chip currently running MacOS 14. Since Apple is requiring Apps to be signed and notarized before they can be opened on MacOS 15, I am holding off a bit on upgrading to MacOS 15.
I have already been able to download Flrig, Fldigi, Flarq, and WSJT-X that will work on MacOS15.
I am looking for GridTracker that will work on MacOS 15 before I take the plunge and upgrade to it.
I use Fldigi to control my radio, then WXJT-X (or Fldigi or JS8call), then feed that into GridTracker2 with the output of GridTracker2 going into RUMlogNG, my logging program.
RUMlogNG is already in the Apple App store.
So I am looking for GridTracker and JS8call. GridTracker being a higher priority at this point for me.
Does anyone have any information about these two programs re MacOS 15??

I should state that I am just signing and notarizing the Fldigi apps that have already been compiled by David until he can get his Apple Developer ID.
WSJT-X_Improved apps that are notarized and compiled for Apple chips can be found at:
Look for the files that end in M1.zip. The Plus version is most like WSJT-X in terms of layout. AL_Plus is optimized for laptops (which is what I use) and Widescreen is optimized for large monitors.
For JS8Call and Gridtracker, I would approach their developers directly. Both programs are on?. I’m willing to help out but don’t want to get crosswise with those developers.

Gary,
Hello. I was very happy to see your email.
I have a Mac Studio with an M2 Max chip currently running with MacOS 14. I am holding off upgrading to MacOS 15 due to the “side loading” issues.
It sounds like this has been taken care of for Fldigi and Flarq. I am not sure who all did what, but thank you and everyone so much.
I also run FLrig, WSJT-X, GridTracker2, RUMlogNG, and sometimes Js8call. ?I see that RUMlogNG is in the App store and is not an issue. Do you have any info on these other programs and how I could get notarized versions of them for an M2 Mac?
Is there anything I can do to help??
Thanks,
Philip

reboot computer
turn on transceiver
start flrig
configure flrig
start WSJT-X and set up
to use "flrig" as the transceiver interface
start JS8Call and
configure similar to WSJT-X
The will allow fldigi,
JS8Call, and WSJT-X to operate simultaneously, all with
transceiver control via flrig.

Try this, see if there is another process using the default local address. I do not know if the 127.0.02 address is used by your system you may need to change it to something else.
