I have two questions regarding PCBnew.
1) Is there a way to lock the dimensioning tool so it only measures orthogonally i.e. only horizontally or vertically? Unless you are dimensioning something at an angle, it's a real pain to use and keep the dimension lines purely horizontal (or vertical).
2) And related, I'm not sure this is a bug or by design, but for fine positioning of elements (including dimensioning lines), it is really handy to use the cursor arrow keys instead of a mouse. But the arrow keys only seem to work when you are zoomed way in. If you are zoomed back so you can see a chunk of the board, the arrow keys seem to move the cursor maybe only zero, one, or two clicks or so, and then stop and get stuck. I typically have the grid size for positioning things at 1 or 0.5 mil because that's the typical resolution that US board houses work at. The issue almost has the feel that if the grid size of the layout is smaller than the pixel size on the screen, the arrow key positioning of the cursors won't work. I would have expected the cursor positioning by the arrow keys to be based on the internal drawing database rather than the screen pixels.
Thanks,
