EESchema tutorial in preparation (others to follow)

Hi,
I'm having a go at a quick and dirty EESCHEMA tutorial. It's being done
with WINK, so will consist of screenshots and explanatory text boxes.
It will be downloadable as a stand alone EXE file.
It's just a simple 555 timer project (a bit boring,I know) but it will
introduce most of the basic operations.
Next will follow a CVPCB and PCBNEW tutorial to follow on.
Hopefully it will be done in time for Christmas, but no promises. It will
take this long because I have to learn WINK as well as review my kicad
skills.
Feedback on this will be appreciated.

David Briscoe.

Except for the EXE part (avid Linux user here) I'm all for it.

Hi,
If the WINK project can be opened in the linux version I will be OK.
If it can't the tutorials will have to be redone under Linux.
I use Fedora Core 4, so I am familiar with Linux.
This will take me longer.
I have over 300 screen captures so far just for the EESchema
tutorial, the PCBNew tutorial will need even more.
Anyway, I'll see what I can do.

OT, but I just downloaded & installed the linux version. I can open the sample tutorial but the start button does not seem to work. Also downloaded the windows version & installed & ran under Wine with identical results.

I can step thru' frames by clicking on them in the bottom left window.
