2 Ideas :
- You have bad sectors on your hard drive; in this case, you can try
to rename your kicad directory as kicad_old_install, and re-instal one
more time kicad in a new kicad directory, but in an other location on
your hard drive.
- A problem occured when you downloaded the kicad files; in this case,
try (if possible), to download one more time the .zip file, and
re-install it.

project I load, I always get two errors
1 - Library <library/device.lib> not found and
2 - Library <library/power.lib> not found.
