Re: How to export .brd files to pdf?
Something I did a ways back was to import the gerber and drill files into GC-Prevue <http://www.graphicode.com/GC-Prevue_Gerber_Viewer>. GCP can output a properly scaled, detailed pdf of the project.

Yes, GSView. I fatfingered when writing. I use Laser-capable Vellum. I have yet to try a spray that some repro houses use to make the printing denser, Called Densiton. - Anders Gustafsson Engineer,

Hi Anders, do you mean GWView? I had not come across this viewer so out of idle curiosity I did a search of GWView and just came up with lots of malware info, and one or two hints that it may be a

Re: How to export .brd files to pdf?
I agree. That's my preferred method too. I add one more step and that's exporting to PDF from GSView and then importing into InkScape for layout and panelizing.

Re: How to export .brd files to pdf?
I definitely recommend the Plot route. The printing is not suitable for preparing artwork, only for docs etc. Personally I plot to PS and then use GWView to print the artwork. - Anders Gustafsson

Re: How to export .brd files to pdf?
As well as the cutePDF that Mike mentions, another option is to use the plot menu, and plot as postscript, you can then read this into another graphics program. Inkscape is a good example (and free)

Re: How to export .brd files to pdf?
I installed CutePDF, which appears as a printer to Windows, and generates PDF. Then just print the .brd as usual, and select CutePDF as the printer. /mike

Re: Drawing Arcs
You have to draw the arc and then right click on it so you can edit the various parameters by typing them in. Pretty ghastly, but at least you can eventually get the arc you want. Regards, Robert. --

Drawing Arcs
When trying to draw an arc with less than 90 degress, the "Add graphic arc" seems to be satisfied with only 2 points, and leaves a 90 degree arc. Maybe I am not doing this correctly. Any ideas? thanks

Re: Understanding the various perimeters of my circuit in kicad.
You do not change the red page sizes directly, The red page size is changed by the page settings tool, 4th icon top toobar in pcbnew. Likewise that's where you can add any texts to it. You say you

There's a tick box on the gerber plot dialog "Use Proper Gerber Extension". Tick it and you get .g** files, otherwise you get .pho ("photoplotter") files. The content is identical. I don't know how
