After a long absence, I am back on EchoLink regularly. Today I am listening to and participating in the 9AM Talk Net over the N6NFI repeater in the Bay Area through the? W6REK-R EchoLink node.
For those not aware, you can connect to repeaters, individuals, and groups through EchoLink. EchoLink nodes can be accessed alone or over participating D-Star, AllStar, and DMR nodes as well as directly over the internet. It is a simple install on Windows or Android for IP access. If you are interested in VoIP radio and EchoLink I am going to start logging in and staying available online most of the day if anyone wants to try it out. You can log in to the 9AM Talk Net from 09:00 to about 10:00, or connect to me directly before or after the net.
I am available most of the day via Hamshack Hotline 12365, packet chat on my node LMT:KK6GXG-1 or packet mail (145.050 MHz), Winlink KK6GXG, APRS messaging KK6GXG-10, and I am scanning local VHF/UHF. My EchoLink Node number is 916254. I have D-star, Wires, and DMR capable radios if anyone wants to move in that direction as well.
