Address Change for license (was: $35 Application Fees begin April 19, 2022)
According to FCC, address change may be filed electronically.? I hope the link below provides enough info for someone to proceed.?
I believe that once logged into "License Manager", license update should be relatively simple. Cyndi |
Re: $35 Application Fees begin April 19, 2022
If there's a shortage of VE for an extra session, and depending on the dates, I'll be happy to participate in a session.
Personally, I think the exam dates should be listed on the ARRL's website.? That's how I found the info when I first got interested in getting a ticket. Cyndi |

Re: $35 Application Fees begin April 19, 2022
Greetings Michael,
The regular third-Tuesday schedule has been widely promoted and I don't want to change it. However,?If we had several people that wanted to do a special session, I would be happy to try and set one up. I will need a confirmed minimum of 5 people, a place to do it, and it will be subject to having 3 VEs available for that date and time. Anyone who is interested in having a special session before April 19th, please contact me. 73, Jon KK6GXG? |

Can we move the test date up a day or week? I would like to get my General before the fee is enabled.? KJ7VXX On Thu, Mar 24, 2022 at 11:02 AM Cyndi Albro, KK7AZD <KK7AZD@...> wrote: I appreciate the heads up, Jon.? |
Re: $35 Application Fees begin April 19, 2022
I appreciate the heads up, Jon.?
One minor correction: while you have the correct date in the subject line, the body of the post should match.? I believe the effective date for the new fee, as well as the next exam at KCC should be, April 19, 2022, not the 29th. 73 | Cyndi |

ARRL Section Mmanager election
Greetings everyone,
That time has rolled around again, it is ARRL Field Organization election season for the Oregon Section. Our Section Manager, David Kidd is running to remain in office for one more term.? I personally endorse David Kidd. I have worked with him for 4 years now. He is highly supportive of emcomm and all ARRL clubs encouraging expansion of membership, reaching out to the community, bringing youth into the hobby, and building a strong leadership base in the section. David is not running unopposed, Kevin Fox KU0L is running against him again this election. Kevin ran last election cycle doing poorly. I know Kevin as well. He was the Section Traffic Manager when I first moved here in 17.? David Kidd is dedicated to building a stronger more communicative section leadership pool and recognizes the different needs for support throughout the section. I ask that you too will support David Kidd by casting your vote for David Kidd as our Section Manager. Thank you, and 73, Jon KK6GXG? |
