Hello, can someone please tell me where I can find a copy of the GoldWave Scrippsscripts with directions on how to install it?

In google docs, pressing alt or alt+f gives me the MS edge menu. There is also a google docs menu. I have tried alt+shift+f and that doesn't get to it. How do I make this happen? Thx

I just heard back from FS support and they have added my report to a software bug report internally. So, when it gets resolved, it will be in a Jaws update. Apparently, there already was an internal bug report related to this. I often say not so nice things about FS Support, so I thought I would share some good news. They responded far more quickly than at other times. Well done FS. According to FSCompanion, turn off the 'list announcement' in settings center. I don't find "list announcement" I do find the announcement intrusive and insignificant. How can I get rid of it? Thx

Hi guys Ever since Chrome updated to 137, I get this when I start typing. overall type: UNKNOWN_TYPE html type: HTML_TYPE_UNSPECIFIED server type: SERVER_RESPONSE_PENDING heuristic type: UNKNOWN_TYPE label: ToTo, contacts parseable name: message-to-field section: _0_1343 field signature: 4123326145 form signature Is there a way to get rid of it? I'm using the latest version of JAWS 2025. Is this happening to anyone else?

Now, This started a few days ago. I was reading in a spreadsheet and heard Jaws say "South African Rand" after an entry. I was just reading an address on a web site and after the zip code, it said South African Rand. However, when I try to copy the speech history, the words South African Rand do not copy even though Jaws has spoken it. This had not happened before the May update. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before I waste my time writing to FS? Can someone test this the next time you uninstall an app via the Settings, Apps, Installed apps list? When I tab for ‘more options,’ I get the uninstall app button, and then a second time to confirm, then the User Account dialog to confirm I want the app to make changes to my system. Once I select yes, Jaws goes into the apps uninstall dialog, but I can’t navigate it. No up/down arrows, no Tab/Shift tab, etc. When I use the ocr feature to read the window (Insert+Space+O+W) I can navigate and select the uninstall option but it gets lost once again and I can’t get to the Are you sure bbutton. Unloaded Jaws and loaded Narrator and all read fine. Thanks, Dennis T. Brown

Hi, I work from home and am not on a network. There is a web site that I need to access which contains some personal information about clients. I can’t access the data or enter data without going through a two-factor authentication program. I use Google Crome as my browser. Hello again, all. I didn’t get any response to my initial query, but I now have something to add that may help diagnose the issue. See below. Whenever I open YouTube using the Google Chrome browser, YouTube automatically starts playing the last video that I have downloaded and viewed. This has only started happening recently. How do I configure YouTube in Google Chrome so this anoying issue does not happen? And, is there something I need to do to not have the most recently-viewed YouTube video in my queue? I tried Firefox, and do not have this issue, so the problem clearly lies with Google Chrome. Thanks! Tom Behler

Recently, I encountered a situation wherein Outlook had begun to behave badly. After exploring the issue with other screen readers, I realized that the problem was that the screen was not maximized for the current application. When I attempted to toggle between Minimize and Maximize using WIN UP (or /Down for Minimize), I was informed that the operation could not be performed because the cursor was not in a focused window. Is there a best method for returning focus to the desired window quickly, and then to maximize the window? I hope that this is not too na?ve a question. Hi, I called fs tech support this morning. We ran through all the standard trouble shooting techniques, most from this list and what a fellow lister did with me last night over the phone. I ran a jfw repair, there was still the problem. Then I called fs tech this morning, he was confused as to why none of the settings were sticking. Even after running jaws in default mode, the problem still occurred, so finally the issue that worked was setting jaws back to factory defaults, of course this was done after backing up the enu folder.
