logger32 rbn 3
I have the latest Logger32. How do I get RBN connected to Logger32? The manual page 304 section 13.7 doesn't tie up with the tabs on Logger32. Neil G3RIR

Export to ADIF without QSO numbering 4
Hi Group, Simple question -- hopefully... Is it possible to export a complete logbook to ADIF, but without the QSO numbers. Reason for asking is that I'm using L32 for RTTY contesting -- and yes, it works actually quite well -- and afterwards I'd like to import the contest log into my ordinary logbook. However, if the contest log contains QSO numbers, it causes two QSOs with the same number when being merged into the main log which, of course, contains the overall consecutive QSO numbering. Or maybe there is a better / smarter workaround to this issue...?? 73 de OZ1LFI

Spot comment 7
Hi, when I send a spot with a long comment then it is splitted into multiple dxspots. Dxcluster doesn't like this as the multiple dxspots are considered duplicated. Would it be possible to send only one dxspot with the whole comment? CheckCall - Data Import 6
Hi All I'm struggling with something very simple, which usualy means I've missed something very stupid :-( I have CheckCall by JA1NLX on my Utilities menu and it is configured to auto lookup the call field from the log entry window - mine looks up membership numbers of CWOps and FISTS. This is working as the "lookup for <<CALL>>" window displays the results correctly. In Logger32 I have the USER field 1 set up as: and similarly for FISTS I have User field 2 configuerd: In CheckCall I have "enable to transfer data to Logger32" selected and USER_1 field selected for file1 (which is my CWOps data file) and similarly for USER_2 field for FISTS. My problem is that the lookup works, but the data doesnt populate into my users fields in L32. Can anyone help? Mark G0MGX

Problems with lagging / MMTTY engine 4
Hi Group, Just curious to know... Anyone who have experienced that the software is lagging...?? I have the latest version of the software, and when I'm running RTTY with the MMTTY engine embedded, I frequently encounter lagging. Everything freezes, buttons, spectrogram, everything for say 10-15 seconds, and then it resumes into normal operation. Despite that an ongoing transmission of a macro continues, it is absolutely annoying in a contest. It happens randomly, but it seems that when I right click the mouse to enter serial number, QTH, locator, etc., it often triggers a lag -- not every time, but often. I have tried to monitor the CPU load for Logger32 (i5 processor), and it is quite high (30-40%) when the event occurs. I'm using the microHAM DXP interface attached via USB to the PC. The rig is a Kenwood TS-870 also connected to the DXP via RS-232. The problem only occurs when running the MMTTY engine in Logger32. Running MMTTY as stand alone, everything works flawlessly. Similarly, no problems at all when running fldigi or WSJT. Any idea...?? Thanks in advance. Best 73 de OZ1LFI, Peter

TS870 CAT Control 9
This might be a shot in the dark, but I cannot seem to get Logger32 to talk to my Kenwood TS870. I have tried everything I can see in the manual, but still not getting any where. I admit, I am a total newbie but do have a decent understanding of computer ports and connections. When I look at the debug window, I see it polling the B VFO and not the A. Any insight would be a greatly appreciated. 73 Bill KB0RMS

Automatic Capitalizing State Field + one More 7
I have all the fields set to automatically capitalize the first letter on the name and QTH but not the state, nor can find how to do it in the superbly written manual I would also like to know how to automatically populate the name, QTH and State Fields for stations I've previously worked. There used to be a drop down list once I entered the call of a previous QSO but no more. I did RTFM and saw the feature but not anything about how to turn it on. Pleae direct me to the proper page(s) in the manual or let me know how to make the Magic happen. I love this program. 73, Dave WB2PJH

$command 4
Hi, I have tested the following RCP DX Spot macro set-ups: All is OK, except for #ModeModifier# which is supposed to change the radio filters depending on the mode. Commands are correct - when applied directly. they work beautifully, e.g. Is the #ModeModifier# syntax wrong in my set-up? Help me, please... Best regards, Alec

L32 + FlexRadio, issue? 8
Good morning, I have a problem and I'm not sure if it could be related to configuration. When I change frequency, the mode change command to CW doesn't seem to be sent correctly. Switching to USB and LSB works fine, but L32 appears to send ZZMD00 for CW frequencies, where I believe it should be ZZMD04. Any ideas? Fabi¨¢n Malnero Maccari, EB1TR https://www.eb1tr.com

Logger32 auto-update v4.0.337 is on-line 2
Fixes/changes for this release include: Fixed a bug on the WAZ award window where Confirmed/Granted zones were not showing correctly. If the Slave port is configured for Kenwood radio, the FR0; command (Set VFO-A) is no longer sent with the frequency when the primary radio is QSYd. The menus on the Tracking Window and NCDXF Beacons Windows to select Miller cylindrical projection maps have been changed to Equidistant cylindrical Projection. No need to change the maps, it is just the menu captions that were wrong. Ver 4.0.54 of the CW Machine is included in this update. It corrects a typographical error on the Software keyer setup window. Previously the Shift+DX Spot click to send the frequency to VFO-B or the SO2R only worked for the DX Spot Window and the BandMap. Changes have been made so it now works with the Monitor BandMaps as well. Also, you can use Shift+DX Spot click, Ctrl+DX Spot click, or Alt+DX Spot click. Added a 'Dark Mode' theme to the Logbook Entry Window. For DXpedition alerts that do not provide IOTA information, and the IOTA can not be derived from the prefix, Try this practical example to address the problem. Look at the DXpeditionsxx.txt file for April (or May) and you will see an entry for TX9A^45772^45777^https://www.dx-world.net/tx9a-austral-islands-dxpedition-202/ for the current Austral Island DXpadition. There is no information about what IOTA this is. If you Google //www.dx-world.net/tx9a-austral-islands-dxpedition-202/ you will see the DXpedition is on OC-152. Edit the entry to add the IOTA like this TX9A^45772^45777^https://www.dx-world.net/tx9a-austral-islands-dxpedition-202/"OC-152 Save the change. For the duration of the DXpedition, Logger32 knows where the IOTA of the TX8A DX Spot is, and will log QSOs with the IOTA, and show TX8A on the IOTA DX Spot map. NOTE: The first character of the red text is a circumflex or caret. ASCII 94. And remember to backup, backup,, and backup again. Enjoy.

FT8 - Error in Soundinput 3
First let me state that I do not think this is a Logger32 issue! I thought I'd poll the group for some advice! I have been using a Navigator interface in the same configuration for digital modes including FT8 etc for years. Suddenly today when I tried FT8 I got the following message "An error opening the audio input device has occurred." I checked the audio source selection (USB Audio Codec) and all is well. I checked device driver and all the ports "seem" good. In addition, I could transmit an FT8 signal using the Navigator interface. After several Win10 reboots but before going further and re-installing the Navigator ports I decided to try another rig. This time I used my QMX+ qrp rig with a BUILT-IN sound card. After setting up the QMX+ I received the same error? I tried both rigs using JTDX outside of Logger32. The same error? The fact that the error seems independent of the sound card is baffling and suggests that neither Logger32 nor the Navigator interface is the issue and it might be a Windows10 problem?? Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? Thoughts appreciated. Thanks, -- --------------- 73, Rick VE7TK Website: https://www.ve7tk.ca
