Generic QSO Window

Rebuilt the logbook and did a recalc - still no entries when I click on an award grid.? Also tried a fresh .INI, but no luck.
So I thought I would delete all the award files and recalc, but I went too far and deleted some essential files. Back to ground zero, I downloaded the full installation from the web, reloaded my log, did the autoupdate and all is well.

Bill,
?
Could you check all the award options to make sure you get QSO's showing in the Generic QSO window when clicking on a slot please. Assuming you have IOTA references stored etc?
Thanks

Hi? Bill. I had a similar problem in past when I have added a new mode (Q65). Did you did something like that recently? 73

Ian - Yes, works for all awards including IOTA.

Panos - I did add Q65 a few months ago, but since I reloaded everything it is no longer there.? You might be on to something!
I'll try adding Q65 to Bands and Modes when I get some time.

Hi Bob
?
I have just carried out a rebuild of the log, re-calculation and still no QSO'S?shown in the?Generic QSO window.
Down loaded the full version. and installed it.
Run the re-install and still no QSO's showing.
Renamed the Logger32 ini file Logger32old.
?
Run L32, still no sign of any QSO's.
?
Created a new logbook and Imported a small ADIF file 90 QSO's, run the DXCC AWARD selected MIXED_MODE and still no QSO's showing in the Generic window.
?
Looks like I need to completely uninstall using windows uninstaller?
?
If I keep the Log Backup and the User files?backup then I assume I can get back to all the other configurations I have made. One question though,?ia all the colouring text and back ground shading etc backed up in the ini files?

If you want to add mode/submode d'jour, it must be added to the ADIFModes.txt file, it must be added to the BandPlan, and it must be checked as a digital mode (if you want it included in the Digital stats). That requirement was in the v3.50 help file, and I assume it migrated to the v4.0 document. SeventyThree(s).

As Bob has stated in order to insert Q65 into the MyBandMode32.db it has to be in the ADIFModes.txt file.? What I did back in March was to add Q65 to ADIFModes.txt.? I then inserted Q65 into the Edit Bands & Modes form.? A subsequent Logger32 Auto Update overwrote the ADIFModes.txt file and my Q65 was no longer there, but it was still in MyBandMode32.db file.? That is apparently what is stopping the awards window from displaying the log entries associated with an award.
I was able to confirm this by using a text editor to insert the Q65 line into MyBandMode32.txt and the log entries were not displayed.
Hope this helps.
Thanks Bob for a great program and Gary for your great documentation.

Yes, the auto-update includes an AFIFModes.txt file which will overwrite your modified one. You'll have to get in the habit of keeping a copy of your modified one and overwriting the one installed by the auto-update. That the problem with customizing your files (any of them). SeventyThree(s).
