Logger crashes on telnet connection (OS: Win10)

To get an error 40020, do this:
?
1) Try to connect to a Telnet server that no longer exists - Example 21735.93.40 port 7373
2) Nothing happens, so try to connect somewhere else
3) Error 40020 is generated because the Telnet socket is trying to connect and now you've asked it to make another connection.
4) Click OK and wait a couple of seconds while Logger32 attempts to close/reset the Telnet socket
5) Connect to a valid Telnet server address.
