FT8 QSOs not logged automatically

Hi,
?
FT8 QSOs some times are not logged autimatically.
I am prompted to log the qso.
?
As I said it doesn't happen always.
?
See below my WSJT-X and Logger configurations.
?
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Hi Aki,

I will give a try :)

Thanks for the tip

Hello Arturo,

In fact, I have encountered this many times in WSJT-X. In the settings in Log, I have automatic recording in the log, but sometimes this does not happen and I have to enter it manually.

Hi Aki,
?
I changed the setting to "Promt me to log QSO"
It worked fine for a few QSOs.
Later, I was prompted to log them.

Arturo
Is this option checked ?

If this does not solve your problem, then temporally uncheck "Enable PSK Reporter Spotting"

If you run wsjtx directly, then try to run wsjtx from UDP BandMap Start menu.

Hi Aki,
?
Thanks for the tips.
I think, I have tried all the combinations without luck.
On each combination, I start calling CQ and all the QSOs are logged automatically.
?
After some time, the WSJT-X window requesting to to press ok? to log the qso appears.
If I don't press ok, the qso is not transferred to Logger.
?
Same behavour when using Cherry Picking.

I do not remember your original message.

When QSO is logged in wsjtx, this QSO is not logged automatically in Logger32.
Is this your problem ?

Run wsjtx always from UDP BandMap.?
Check "Enable contemporaneous user input sequence" option.
Uncheck "TCP/ADIF logging" option
Otherwise it does not work correctly.

Hi Bob,
?
Today, I tried with JTDX v2.2.159
Same issue.
I did 22 qsos and they were logged automatically.
At qso nr 23, I was prompted to log the qso manually.
?
What I see is that if I do not press the ok, it is not logged neither in Logger nor in wsjtx_log.adi nor wsjtx.log
?
Exiting the JTDX and starting it again, does not solve the issue.
To have it working back it is needed to exit Logger32 and restart it.
?
I oppened the UDP message debug window.
The only difference ?I was able to notice between both cases is that the red "QSO log request" message is not showed.
?
Now, I did 32 qsos with no failure.

Did you start JTDX from UDP BandMap Start menu ?

I have no idea. There is no code in Logger32 that keeps count of the number of contacts that are automatically logged.
?
I use the cherry picker, but have only made a hand full of contacts. It has worked as expected.?
?
You have tried WSJT-X and JTDX with the same result. Maybe time to try another cherry-picker.

SeventyThree(s.
