Re: DX Spots and JTDX problem
What is the "stop displaying spots" option?
?
When you say "Logger32 turns itself off" do you mean Logger32 disappears from the screen and stops running?
?
Is this a new problem? Did everything work as expected before? Some information, any information?please. SeventyThree(s).

...? and?what problem would that be? There are so many that I loose track. SeventyThree(s).

Re: LOGGER32 DXCC FILTERING
... and you could/should probably filter out DX Spots that originated outside of Europe. DX Spots originating from North Ealing and East Ealing may be of interest, but probably not those from Darjeeling.?
?
Use your imagination. I am not interested in the contest, but I am interested in how well Logger32 behaves under duress. I am connected to two RBNs and they are filtered to pass/show only highlighted DX Spots. My antique Pentium PC is idling?along at < 20% CPU utilization.

Re: LOGGER32 DXCC FILTERING
There are two additional settings to reduce the flow of excrement from the RBNs.
?
Go to the DUPES tab?of DX Spot blocking filters. Check these two options - i) Block RBN DX Spots match callsign and frequency. 2) Apply a little sanity to skimmer originated DX Spots. Then click Apply.

Re: LOGGER32 DXCC FILTERING
Thanks again Prasad.? I am trying Ham Alert now because I use Club Log, I upload QSOs to Club Log automatically after each one.
?
I am only getting needed band-slots for the whole of my log-book on Club Log.? Is there a way to just get needed band-slots for 2024, please?
?
Thanks and 73 de Chris, G4BUE |

Re: LOGGER32 DXCC FILTERING
Chris, A good way to overcome this would be to use the wonderful site. That is if you also use Clublog. You can then set up the filter you want and get a Telnet feed only for the wanted spots checked against your ClubLog. They also have a mobile app which pushes spots to your phone :) Enjoy! 73, Prasad VU2PTT. On Sat, Nov 23, 2024 at 4:06?PM Chris Page via <chris=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: LOGGER32 DXCC FILTERING
Thanks John and Prasad, that is exactly what I need? The spots appearing in the DX Spots Window have now slowed to a speed that I can read and click on them.? I have made one new band-slot already!
?
However, the times of the spots appearing in the DX Spots Window still gradually start falling behind real time after a few minutes, and I still have to close and restart Logger 32 to catch up.? Is this due to the very high number of RBN spots this weekend having to be processed by Logger32?? Is there any way round this, please?
?
Thanks again and 73 de Chris, g4BUE |

LOGGER32 DXCC FILTERING
I use the RBN to obtain CW spots in the DX Spots Window.? I am aware of the DX Spots Blocking/Pass Filters option to filter bands, continents, modes, etc, but is there a way to filter band-slots I need from those I don't, so that only stations for band-slots I need appear in the DX Spots window, and hence in the different Band DX Spots windows I have set-up??
?
I have been using Logger32 as my logging program for very many years and, whilst appreciating it is not a contest program, ?I am QRV this week-end in the CQWW CW Contest trying to find new band-slots, and not obtain a big contest score.? Despite setting the DX Spots Blocking Filters for CW only and for European spots only, the number of spots appearing in the DX Spots Window are far too many and moving up through the window much too fast for me to see them properly, and definitely too fast for me to click on one.
?
Also, although I have a very fast internet connection, I am finding the times of the spots in the DX Spots Window gradually starts falling behind real time after a few minutes, until I have to close and restart Logger 32 to catch up.? Is there any way round this, please?
?
Thanks for any help and advice.

I don't think you can do that. What you can do is connect JTDX to Logger32 and turn on one of the UDP repeaters in Logger32 and configure it to send logging messages to another logging program. With that configuration,
the other logging program can only?'listen' to the UDP messages and not reply. See section 15.7 (page 378) of the help file.
?
Or you could configure one (or both) logging programs to log by TCP. Use your imagination.
?
The ultimate configuration option would be to remove Logger32 completely. Sure would reduce the reflector bandwidth. SeventyThree(s).?

Check database synk
Good morning everyone, after having closed Logger32 correctly yesterday evening, this morning I am unable to start it because when it almost reaches the end of loading, that is, when "Check database synk" is written in the status window, the program closes. How can I solve my problem?
Thanks in advance for the help. Lenio IZ5ILJ |
