FTdx10 and Bands & Modes table
When I have my FTdx10 set to CW or USB and tune to 14.080 (FT4 frequency), the correct antenna is selected automatically by my antenna switching arrangement. However, when I have the radio set to DATA-U, no antenna is selected.
Aha! I thought, I know what it is, there is no setting for that frequency in the B&M Table. Then I thought 'Yes, there is'. It works with the other radio (FTdx5000). It used to work with the IC7300, too. I have the FTdx10 set up as a FT101D in Logger32. This: is my bands and modes table for the frequency in question. This: is my phone/digital mode setup. I read the help and I felt I may need to add the little vertical line and 'DATA-USB' to the bands & modes table, so I tried that. That made no difference. Watching the OTRSP traffic between Logger32 and my YCCC SO2R box, I see that Logger32 sends 'AUX25' to select radio and antenna 5 when I switch to CW, but sends 'AUX20', thus selecting antenna 0, when I switch to DATA-U.? I have reached the limit of my own incompetence now. Has anyone the solution to this conundrum? I'm probably doing something simple wrong. Cheers, John G4DRS |

Hey Paul, I just purchased an IC-7300 and have the same rig control problem with Logger32 using Version 272. Works fine on my IC-7000 and other digital modes, N1MM, WSJT, and FLDIGI. Would you mind telling me what settings you are using in "Rig Configuration" and in the "Band Mode Selection" panel of Logger32? 73, Jerry VE9CD |

By design. You can still customize the results by saving the DoNoDelete.xls file somewhere, and modifying the results to suit your needs. SeventyThree(s).

Quick question, in Awards, Simple, Primary and Secondary Awards the option to select Excel Template it not available. Is that by design? On Tue, Aug 3, 2021 at 8:48 AM Bob <k4cy@...> wrote:

Re: Worked/Confirmed Not Populating
In an effort to verify it is not your logbook or statistics databases that are broken, try this:
?
a) create a new/empty logbook
b) add a dummy QSO with W3GQ
c) type W3GQ in the logbook?entry window
?
See anything in the worked/confirmed window? If you do, then you have a database problem. If toy do not, you have a configuration problem.
?
d) Switch back?to your 'real' logbook
e) Make an ADIF backup of the logbook and put it under the mattress
?
If you problem appears to be database related, try this:
?
f) Rebuild your logbook
g) Recalculate your statistics.
?
Any better? SeventyThree(s).

Re: Worked/Confirmed Not Populating
Hi Gary,
Yes (and I should have said this initially)? all the rows in my bands and mode table have the Y in them.? I even rolled back logger32 to earlier versions (no joy.)? ?Then I used an earlier Logger32.ini file (no joy.) I also read through the help file, searched the groups.io, Googled it and all I came up with was talk about not showing SAT QSOs.? SAT QSOs are not an issue for me.? I also recalculated distance and statistics, and rebuilt my logbook.? Did I miss anything? This used to work for me.? ?I don't know when it started happening, but I just noticed it yesterday.? So any other suggestions to try?? ?I'm out of ideas! Paul, W3GQ |

By the way, do you have stats set to Y in Tools-Bands and Modes? If not, they don¡¯t show up in Awards On Mon, Aug 2, 2021 at 10:28 AM g4girhb0 via <ian.frith=[email protected]> wrote:

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Paul. ? Chapter 10 of the User Manual covers ¡ but glancing at it just now, you could argue that its sections should be in the reverse order.? Anyway, take a look at the FAQ at the end, and the previous section.? The main clue you need is to have some Y¡¯s in the statistics column of your Bands & Modes table ¨C not the most intuitive function in Logger32, I know, but that¡¯s how Bob designed and coded it. ? Re: "Checking for Excel"
If your PC does not have Excel, or you don't want to use Excel for format/print your awards tables, then you can cancel the check for Excel by doing this:
?
a) Stop Logger32
b) In your Logger32 directory, open the Logger32.INI file with Notepad
c) Find the line [Globals]
d) Add a line under it exactly like this Check For Excel=No
e) Save the change and exit Notepad
f) Run Logger32.
