I have no more ideas or suggestions. You might try running the Windows system file checker (Google it) to check the validity of the operating system on your PC. Good luck, SeventyThree(s).

I did try several compatibility modes but that did not help. It does wait for a second and it disappears a puff of smoke. Thanks again for your help...

No, do not copy any files. That way you are certain you haven't simply copied the cause of the problem to the new install. What exactly do you see? Logger32 freezes forever, Logger32 simply disappears

... and, after doing a 'new install'. in a different folder, did you copy any files (like the INI fir example) into the new logger32 folder? SeventyThree(s).

thanks Bob, The DEP is still set.. I did a new? install v4 into a different folder (W10) Now? logger32 is stopping with "Loading cluster window" Randy, KF4O

Previous little information. Is it possible that Windows has turned DEP back on? Try running the Change DEP.bet file again. Or maybe look at https://www.logger32.net/files/Logger32_v4_User_Manual.pdf
