Bob, Have you tried exporting your log to your C drive first, then copying it to the thumb drive? I just exported my 40,000 QSOs to an ADIF file on the C drive and it took a little over 30 seconds to

Just a SWAG, but are you trying to export a file to LoTW (or eQSL, or somewhere)? If my guess is correct, someone else will have to answer your question, I don't use LoTW (or eQSL). SeventyThree(s).
