I have the latest Logger32. How do I get RBN connected to Logger32?
?
The manual page 304 section 13.7 doesn't tie up with the tabs on Logger32.

soemtimes Flex (SmartSDR) and logger lose each other
Sometimes the communication between Flex 8400 and Logger32, lose connection.
I will change bands on Flex but Logger32 just display previous frequency
I then restart SmartSDR and the most times it works. Ports are correct (Port 10).
Anybody with any idea?

I'm afraid I do not understand your position. You said that you are happy with the 30 chars but you already implemented the possibility to send up to 60 chars by flagging the "long line" option, actually. This option is no longer working because multiple spots for the same call, on the same QRG are now considered duplicated (at least by dxspider cluster). This makes the "long line" option useless. Would it be possible to send the long line in a single dx command instead of splitting it in multiple items? If a user is happy with the 30 chars can opt-out the option. If a user needs 60 chars can opt-in the option. I guess this was the reasoning you did when you first implemented it.

Set/Show width on DX Clusters is an interesting subject. I have checked several, and they all show a default width of 75. The minimum setting allowed is 45. Just for fun, I set the width to 46. Only the first character is displayed. Set the width to 47 and the first two characters of the comment showed.?So the default width setting of 75 is actually 30 characters of comments are allowed. The excess is truncated.
?
I'm more than happy with the default.

Would it be possible to increment this limit, if it doesn't bother you too much??
Maybe it had a sense at the epoc of the packet cluster but nowadays the limit of 30 characters is a bit anachronistic.
You can see below some spots received by logger32 with more than 30 chars.

Dxcluster doesn't like this as the multiple dxspots are considered duplicated.
Would it be possible to send only one dxspot with the whole comment?

You can export your contest log then import it into ADIF Master. Delete the QSO numbers, save it and then import it into Logger32.

Re: Problems with lagging / MMTTY engine
Hi Bob et al.,
?
Thanks for the many constructive suggestions -- unfortunately neither worked, and this problem was therefore gradually driving me crazy. So, this weekend I decided to uninstall L32 and then start all over. My installation was an upgrade from ver. 3 or from the very early ver. 4, can't remember exactly.
?
Although it is always a pain to start from scratch, it helped -- things are now working flawlessly.
?
Thanks for a nice logging software.
