Primary_Administrative_Subdivision and Secondary_Admin_subdivisions: Hawaii error
Richard Hill
I'm trying to import ADIF files into DXKeeper.? I have errors I need to fix for a single QSO with Hawaii that shows "<CNTY:8>HI,Kauai".? I've been trying to learn how to properly fix this error without success.? Any help will be appreciated.? What have I done wrong?
?
The original CQ Magazine references are no longer available.? County Hunter seems to have taken over.? I suspect there is an authoritative source I have not found.
?
ERROR summary:? <CNTY:8>HI,Kauai

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
HI Bob et All, one more thing : the L32 uses the SDC telnet server not the Flex_SSDR spots.
Right now 12mar25 1744z I am trying the N1MM logger and its bandmap works perfectly...
If you agree pass to me your email and I send the L32 zipped directory so you can see&try something.

Re: Problem with telnet (ve7cc)
Mornin' Helga. It is not unusual for any single cluster node to have occasional problems: they are, after all, self-funded hobby setups by radio hams, not professional highly-resilient cloud-based banking or missile command systems costing $millions. VE7CC's cluster has been less reliable than normal, lately, and it is usually turned off while Lee is contesting (usually it automatically fails over to AE5E's node).?? Through different tabs of the DX Cluster window, we can connect simultaneously to multiple clusters.? ?So even if one is down, another may not be. Lately I have been using the FOC cluster plus W4MYA's cluster routinely, and I am trying-out IZ2LSC's cluster with its SOTA and POTA feeds.?? Here's my Cluster User setup right now, in VE7CC's Cluster User program: There is information about the cluster setup, including CLuster User, in chapter 13 of the .? ?There's a table listing some reasonably reliable clusters in the FAQs for chapter 14. 73 Gary? ?beater/tester &? Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
HI Bob, the screen crops I pasted before are from L32 Edit Band&Modes windows.
If I am right I have changed only CW portion from 14120 to 14150.
I am going to try and rollback to very last v.40322 and see what happens

?
PS as already written the Flex&SDC combo has no faulty commands as L32 ALONE has same error result
and N1MM works ok.
Anyway will give a LOOK also at MODEs in the Flex&SDC_config

Re: HELP!
I see (almost) the same thing. When this window opens, I can type the enter key all day long and nothing happens.? However, If I click the mouse on the START button, I am immediately prompted to select a location of where the ADIF file is to be created/used. SeventyThree(s).

Re: HELP!
Bob,
Have you tried exporting your log to your C drive first, then copying it to the thumb drive?
I just exported my 40,000 QSOs to an ADIF file on the C drive and it took a little over 30 seconds to produce a 14MB file. I've not tried to copy it to a thumb drive, but my guess is it would be a bit slower.
Worth a go.

Re: HELP!
Just a SWAG, but are you trying to export a file to LoTW (or eQSL, or somewhere)? If my guess is correct, someone else will have to answer your question, I don't use LoTW (or eQSL). SeventyThree(s).

PS. Whatever you're using, at least it works which is better than Logger32 :)

Re: HELP!
I should have said, EXPORT my log, rather than download. This problem has been on-going for many years here at my shack. Without?resolution, I am using another inferior logging program until I can figure out what is happening with Logger32. 73, Bob/W4GJ On Tue, Mar 11, 2025 at 10:07?AM Bob via <k4cy=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
I see the pictures, but I don't know what I'm looking at.
?
I repeat - PowerSDR and Smart SDR does not know what radio mode CW and radio mode PKT-USB is. There entries in the Radio Mode column of the Setup Bands and Modes window are incorrect. CW Radio Mode must be CWL or CWU. PKT-USB must be DIGUL or DIGU..
